Our inpatient addiction treatment program participants are provided with an opportunity for a minimum of eight hours of sleep per day, in private and semi-private bedrooms, located in a residential addiction treatment facility in New Hampshire. We furnish client rooms and provide storage for clothing, linens, and bedding. Bathrooms and showers are also accessible inside the sleeping area. The residence has ADA equipment and accessibility. Clients have access to two living rooms and a game room area to relax, read, and watch television.

In the kitchen, clients have access to dry goods, snacks, and drinks throughout the day, as well as laundry facilities. Trained addiction recovery support staff are stationed in the sleeping area and also handle non-emergency transportation needs.

The staff prepares the breakfast meal in the kitchen area, consisting of a continental-style breakfast of hot and cold cereals, fresh fruits and vegetables, yogurts, cream and cottage cheese, toast, rolls and bagels, fresh juices, milk, and soy milk. All therapeutic process groups are monitored and facilitated by licensed counselors and therapists.

Individual Counseling at Sobriety Centers of New Hampshire’s Inpatient Addiction Treatment Facility

While progressing through their recovery journey with The Antrim House, clients will also be assigned an individual counselor and therapist. Each client receives one hour of individual counseling, five hours of therapeutic process groups, and twenty hours of psycho-educational groups per week. Counselors and therapists also provide assessment, addiction treatment planning, and case management, as well as relapse prevention and discharge planning. All clinical services are supervised by the Executive Director. Non-treatment medical services will be provided by area vendors, such as local clinics, hospitals, and urgent care facilities.

Clients also participate in 12-step activities and actively attend 12-step meetings in the local community. The Antrim House will provide transportation to these meetings as scheduled.

Individuals participating in the Antrim House inpatient addiction treatment program in New Hampshire are also provided time each day to participate in cardiovascular exercise or yoga to assist them in the physical healing process of their bodies, as well as self-care tools to help them manage stress and anxiety.
